Cross Industry Collaboration

Earlier this month is was a privilege to host a collective of government agency representatives including from the Ministry of Business and Innovation (MBIE) and Te Te Puni Kōkiri to discuss how we can best utilise various funding streams available in Aotearoa to support different industries.

This includes a catch up each week and working  together to collaboratively drive economic growth in the region.

February and March have been filled with huge opportunities to connect with organisations within the region. This included finding out about the support IRD currently offers businesses during the startup or growth stages with Temoa Marshall Rua and Stephen Irving.

We also hosted the Bay of Plenty EDA Collective, a valuable chance to connect and share ideas with attendees including Andrew Wilson (CE, Rotorua NZ), Justin Kimberley (Acting Head of Investment and Development, Rotorua NZ), Greg Simmonds (General Manager Workforce & Policy, Priority One Tauranga), Rick Keehan (CEO, Amplify Taupo District Economic Development Agency).
